
Xiaomi's CyberOne humanoid robot makes overseas debut at IFA, new version already in factory trials
Xiaomi’s CyberOne humanoid robot drew crowds of visitors and media at its first overseas exhibition during the IFA consumer electronics fair here, with the robot responding to onlookers with waves and victory signs. The Chinese tech giant originally unveiled the full-size humanoid bionic robot, internally codenamed “Tie Da”, in August 2022. The first-generation model stands 177 cm tall, weighs 52 kg, and features 21 degrees of freedom with 0.5-millisecond real-time response, powered by Xiaomi’s self-developed bionic perception, biomechatronic fusion and artificial intelligence technologies.
