Hangzhou-based embodied AI startup Panhu Intelligent said it has completed an angel round of tens of millions of yuan, co-invested by Puhua Capital and Hengze Capital.
Proceeds will mainly fund research and development of core technology products including its TigerMind multi-dimensional sensory cognitive world model, edge intelligence and industry-grade embodied intelligence systems, and will further advance joint validation with industry partners in real-world scenarios.
Founded in 2026, Panhu Intelligent focuses on research and development of physical intelligence and embodied intelligence technologies. With TigerMind as its core, the company is building a technology system around Physical Interaction Intelligence (PII).
TigerMind is being developed for environmental state understanding, action outcome prediction and task action decision-making. The company is focusing on multi-dimensional fused perception and unified physical representation, integrating high-frequency sensory data including vision, force and touch to break the limits of single modalities and conduct unified spatiotemporal modeling of real physical environments, object properties and contact states. It is also working on causal reasoning and concept-driven skill learning, seeking to understand the causal relationships between physical laws and action interactions, predict the evolution of multi-dimensional states in physical environments, and extract transferable operating concepts and skill primitives from interaction experience to improve robot generalization and reuse. In addition, Panhu Intelligent is advancing multi-frequency coordination and fine physical manipulation, promoting coordination between high-level cognitive decision-making and low-level high-frequency control so that robots can dynamically fine-tune actions based on real-time force and tactile feedback.
Founder Hou Dibo is a professor at Zhejiang University’s College of Control Science and Engineering, director of the Institute of Intelligent Sensing and Detection, and head of the Shihushan Robot Innovation Base. He has long worked in intelligent sensing and embodied intelligent robotics.
Co-founder Lin Feng holds a PhD in machine learning from Fudan University. He joined Alibaba in 2008 and previously served as CTO of Alibaba B2B search and advertising and head of the Ant Innovation Lab. He joined DingTalk in 2021 and previously served as vice president of DingTalk and general manager of its smart hardware ecosystem.
