Recently, Yuanpei Chen, Co-founder and Head of Reinforcement Learning at PsiBot, was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025 list in the AI category. As one of the few tech entrepreneurs born after 2000 on this year’s list, Chen represents a new generation of innovation and leadership in the field of artificial intelligence.
As featured on the official Forbes website:
Cofounded by Chen Yuanpei in 2024, Beijing-based PsiBot is developing AI models for robots. The company says its technology can allow multiple robotic arms to make complex movements such as stacking building blocks. Last year, PsiBot raised an undisclosed amount of funding from GL Ventures and Lanchi Ventures. Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the South China University of Technology and was a visiting scholar at Peking University and Stanford University, where he was advised by AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li.

Yuanpei CHEN Co Founder & RL Leader
• Research Assistant at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University, under the supervision of Professor Yaodong Yang; Visiting Scholar at Stanford University (2023), advised by Professors Karen Liu and Fei-Fei Li
• Published over 10 papers in top-tier AI conferences and journals, including TPAMI, AIJ, CoRL, NeurIPS, and ICRA
• Built the world’s first simulation benchmark for bimanual dexterous manipulation, and published the first Sim2Real reinforcement learning work using dual dexterous hands
At PsiBot, Yuanpei Chen leads the team in tackling core challenges at the intersection of embodied intelligence and reinforcement learning. His team’s self-developed RL control algorithms have achieved stable deployment in real-world environments, enabling multi-round, multi-goal execution of complex manipulation tasks. His inclusion on the list is not only a recognition of his research capabilities and technical leadership, but also a testament to PsiBot’s core technological strength.
Congratulations to Yuanpei Chen, and heartfelt thanks to every pioneer pushing the boundaries of embodied intelligence. PsiBot will continue to uphold its mission of “advancing from simulation to reality,” committed to building general-purpose dexterous robots for the real world.
