LINXAI robotics robot dog wins inaugural Mount Tai load-bearing race
A heavy-payload quadruped developed by LINXAI robotics won the legged-robot load-bearing race at the inaugural CMG World Robot Mount Tai Climbing Competition on Nov 2. The robot, fielded by LINXAI robotics’s Lingshi team, started from Hongmen Square and carried supplies up the mountain using fully autonomous navigation, according to the company. The load-bearing race had four stages designed to mirror real mountain transport scenarios. “The hardest was the second stage. The supplies and carrying basket weighed 70 kg in total, far above the robot’s rated payload of 50 kg. It was the ultimate test of our capabilities,” Peng Shaowu, product director at LINXAI robotics, said. Peng attributed the win to the company’s in-house technology. He said the robot’s long-leg design...
