Beijing Embodied AI Startup GENISOM AI Raises Hundreds of Millions of Yuan in B Round

Beijing-based embodied AI company GENISOM AI said it has completed a strategic Series B funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan.The round was led by UAE-based Stone Venture (Leishi Capital), with participation from Hongshan Capital, Yueke Financial, Wuzhong Rongyue and Wuzhong Financial Holdings, as well as industrial investors including Neusoft Group, Highpower Technology, Yuanjian Capital and Riying Electronics.

The company said it will focus post-funding investment on robot bodies, embodied brain and control systems, and task operations. It will continue to advance iteration of its GSD (Genisom Self-Driving) autonomous navigation capability and strengthen robots’ task execution in real industrial scenarios.

GENISOM AI also said it will increase R&D spending across four intelligent technology routes: motion intelligence, spatial intelligence, interaction intelligence and swarm intelligence.

    China's Unitree Robotics said in a filing on Oct. 28 that revenue for the first nine months of 2026 rose 55.71% year on year to 1.817 billion yuan.Net profit attributable to shareholders jumped 270.54% to 387 million yuan, while net profit excluding non-recurring items fell 18.78% to 349 million yuan.In the third quarter alone, revenue rose 69.93% to 665 million yuan, but net profit attributable to shareholders fell 17.37% to 113 million yuan and non-recurring-adjusted net profit fell 17.42% to 105 million yuan.
