D-Robotics, a Chinese robotics company, has published the technical report for its world-model simulation platform Uranus and released inference code, an SDK and two versions of model weights, while offering 100 early-access slots to developers and researchers worldwide. The platform is designed to let robot policies run, test and compare actions in a virtual environment. Uranus uses future joint trajectories as conditions and an autoregressive diffusion architecture to generate multi-view observations corresponding to robot actions, forming a closed interaction loop for policy evaluation. D-Robotics said Uranus supports single-arm, dual-arm and mobile manipulation robots under one model by converting different robot bodies into a unified skeleton and spatial representation. D-Robotics made its debut at the 26th China International Industry Fair (CIIF), which opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on Oct. 12, showcasing full-stack AI capabilities for visual inspection, industrial data collection and industrial embodied intelligence. The company presented its Sunrise intelligent computing chips, RDK robot developer kits and RoboGo software platform. For industrial customers, D-Robotics combines edge computing, supporting algorithms and cloud-based development tools.
D-Robotics said on Thursday it has raised $400 million in a Series C round led by Mirae Asset, with participation from Meituan’s strategic investment arm, government-backed funds including Hefei State Investment, Nanshan Strategic Emerging Investment and Jingquan Capital, and a roster of existing investors including Hillhouse Venture Capital, 5Y Capital, Linear Capital, Huangpu River Capital, Temasek’s Vertex Growth, Prosperity7, Hexiang Capital, Yunfeng Fund, Meituan Dragonball and others. The proceeds will fund expansion of its Xuri chip lineup across the full computing range and build a full-stack software platform spanning data collection, model training, simulation validation and inference deployment, as the company seeks to serve embodied-AI development needs from established robot categories to general-purpose humanoids.
Chinese robotics firm D-Robotics and embodied-intelligence company GigaAI have formed a strategic partnership to jointly build a high-performance, deliverable and affordable edge-side integrated software-hardware solution for embodied intelligence, with GigaAI contributing its capabilities in world models, embodied foundation models, robot development and real-world deployment and D-Robotics providing high-performance edge AI computing platforms, algorithm toolchains and robotics ecosystem support, initially targeting deep adaptation of the next-generation embodied foundation model GigaBrain-0.7 with D-Robotics’ large-computing embodied platform Sunrise S600 and integration of GigaWorld world-generation model capabilities, to push world-model-driven embodied intelligence into real-world scenarios spanning home services, industrial manufacturing, commercial services and the developer ecosystem, the companies said.
