D-Robotics, GigaAI partner to develop edge embodied AI

Chinese robotics firm D-Robotics and embodied-intelligence company GigaAI have formed a strategic partnership to jointly build a high-performance, deliverable and affordable edge-side integrated software-hardware solution for embodied intelligence, with GigaAI contributing its capabilities in world models, embodied foundation models, robot development and real-world deployment and D-Robotics providing high-performance edge AI computing platforms, algorithm toolchains and robotics ecosystem support, initially targeting deep adaptation of the next-generation embodied foundation model GigaBrain-0.7 with D-Robotics’ large-computing embodied platform Sunrise S600 and integration of GigaWorld world-generation model capabilities, to push world-model-driven embodied intelligence into real-world scenarios spanning home services, industrial manufacturing, commercial services and the developer ecosystem, the companies said.
