Beijing-based embodied AI startup Livsyn Robotics said it has completed a Series A funding round of more than 100 million yuan, jointly invested by Huafang Capital, Daohe Yuanqi under Daohe Longterm, Suwen Electric Energy and an unnamed leading strategic industrial investor in the embodied AI sector.

Founded in February 2023, Livsyn positions itself as an embodied AI infrastructure provider. It focuses on RUDA (Robotics Unified Device Architecture), a fully self-developed unified architecture for embodied models that aims to build a cross-embodiment general foundation for robots.
RUDA forms a self-evolving closed loop covering data collection, model training, robot execution and feedback. Its general Harness system supports heterogeneous hardware including humanoid robots, various dexterous hands and industrial grippers. Within the system, RUDA serves as the foundation, PhiAgent handles data generation and RoboAgent handles real-world execution, with results fed back to improve robot capabilities.

PhiAgent converts human operation videos into reusable robot data and skills, linking ordinary hand videos to robot simulation and generating robotic arm trajectories and simulation replays for different robot bodies. RoboAgent is an execution agent for real-world scenarios, handling task understanding, skill invocation, robot control and dynamic adjustment. The two are being used to expand soft-object manipulation such as clothes folding. Livsyn has also developed LivDEX, an exoskeleton-style multimodal hand data-collection glove, to support the data loop.
The RUDA architecture has been deployed in intelligent manufacturing, unmanned retail, medical and elderly care, research and education, and cultural tourism services. Commercially, Livsyn has landed applications in high-precision industrial scenarios including optical module insertion and removal and battery assembly. It said optical module insertion and removal achieved a nearly 100% test success rate under certain conditions, and it also covers 3C quality inspection, factory material transfer and large-component handling.
Livsyn’s founder and CEO, Yang Hongbing, graduated from Tsinghua University and has long worked in large models and robotics. He previously served as a senior algorithm director at Baidu and head of AI local engine algorithms, later as a vice president at Tencent Cloud and head of its commercial large model middle platform product line, and as CTO of a humanoid robot unicorn. The company’s CTO is a Tsinghua University PhD born after 2000.
Last December, Livsyn announced Pre-A and Pre-A+ rounds totaling 100 million yuan, backed by Ningbo Fangzheng, Hongruida Investment and Wanwu Wei Venture Capital, according to Qichacha.
