LimX Dynamics and Kyland Technology on Monday unveiled what they called China’s first humanoid robot equipped with a domestically developed electronic architecture, marking the first end-to-end integration of domestic industrial-grade real-time communications in a complex humanoid robot system.

The launch event was held in Yichang, Hubei province. The companies said it was the first time a domestic electronic architecture had entered a complete humanoid robot system, calling it a milestone in the development of embodied intelligence.
Humanoid robots need to transmit large volumes of data and commands among perception, decision-making and motion-control systems in real time to operate autonomously in complex real-world settings. Communication latency, jitter and system coordination efficiency can directly affect control precision, dynamic stability and task safety, the companies said.
Much of the industry’s underlying electronic architecture still relies heavily on overseas systems. As ecosystems for cameras, sensors, dexterous hands and joint drivers take shape, filling the gap in domestic electronic architecture has become an important foundation for scaling embodied intelligence.
LimX Dynamics and Kyland carried out full-robot system-level adaptation. LimX Dynamics provided original body hardware design and manufacturing, brain-cerebellum integration technology and its humanoid brain system COSA as a high-performance validation platform. Kyland supplied a fully domestic underlying electronic architecture, giving the robot an autonomous “nervous system.” The two companies worked on the complete system to bring the domestic architecture into real-world applications.
The partnership also provides a practical basis for the scaled application and iteration of domestic electronic architecture, they said. As a technology platform company, LimX Dynamics provides robot bodies and humanoid brain systems and connects developers and industry partners through an open embodied model training platform. Its ecosystem partners cover research, inspection, commercial services, entertainment, industrial, construction and sports applications.
The company said it will continue to bring domestic electronic architecture validated in complete robots and real-world scenarios to more use cases globally.
LimX Dynamics and Kyland said they will continue to work with upstream and downstream partners to improve technology and products, aiming to serve more robots with domestic electronic architecture and provide more stable and secure underlying support for the scaled deployment of embodied intelligence.
