GENISOM AI has formally launched the SteelWhistle P1, billed as the world’s first embodied AI device designed from the ground up exclusively for security patrol missions.

The SteelWhistle P1 integrates a hybrid wheel-legged robotic chassis, the proprietary RoamerX autonomous navigation system and five professional patrol payloads into a single turnkey system. Targeting five core deployment scenarios—industrial parks, manufacturing campuses, residential compounds, public venues and high-security zones—the product aims to redefine security robotics by shifting the hardware from demonstration exhibits into field-ready standard patrol equipment that can take up duties immediately upon deployment.
Six core capabilities enable the robot to complete the full operational cycle: exiting the security post, conducting patrols and closing incident-response loops.
Key operational strengths
– Hybrid wheel-legged locomotion for complex patrol routes: The robot rolls on wheels across flat ground for high speed and extended runtime. It switches to quadruped mode to traverse stairs, ramps and thresholds, eliminating blind patrol zones.
– 24/7 all-weather outdoor operation: The robot is equipped with visible-light cameras and infrared thermal imagers for day-and-night surveillance alongside real-time temperature and humidity monitoring. Rated IP66, it operates between -20°C and 55°C and sustains patrol missions in rainy and dusty conditions.
– Adaptive autonomous navigation: Powered by GENISOM AI’s RoamerX autonomous navigation system, it supports three navigation modes: open-area navigation, predefined road-network navigation and 3D navigation. The platform dynamically adjusts navigation strategies based on terrain and mission requirements to improve autonomous performance in complex unstructured environments.
– Autonomous patrol plus self-charging for round-the-clock duty: The robot autonomously executes patrols following preset schedules, routes and checkpoints. Paired with an optional automatic charging dock, it returns to recharge when the battery is low and resumes patrol after recharging, supporting 24/7 monitoring.
– Fully integrated patrol payloads: Five functional modules—infrared thermal imaging, remote voice broadcast, strobe warning, one-touch emergency call, and temperature and humidity sensing—are embedded in the robot chassis, enabling coordinated on-site perception, remote human interaction and alert response.
– Centralized mission deployment and traceable records: Patrol routes and task plans can be deployed centrally. Device status and patrol logs are fully recorded and traceable. Open APIs support integration with clients’ existing business systems and their proprietary AI models.
