Robots on display at this year’s 2026 Inclusion · Conference on the Bund are not performing flashy stunts. Instead, Ant Lingbo Technology showcased practical deployments: autonomous medicine picking for pharmacies, logistics sorting and industrial loading tasks, highlighting a pivotal shift in the robotics industry.

For years, the sector’s most eye-catching demos centred on dynamic robot movements. Yet rolling robots into pharmacies, warehouses and factories demands more than pre-programmed motions. Machines must interpret unstructured environments, understand tasks, adapt to unexpected changes and operate reliably around the clock — the core challenge Ant Lingbo aims to address with its natively embodied general AI brain.

The centrepiece exhibit is a replica smart pharmacy, built in partnership with Shanghai Guoda Pharmacy and already live across the retailer’s store network. Inside narrow aisles with dense, similarly sized drug packaging, reflective surfaces and visual clutter, Lingbo-powered robots autonomously receive orders, locate target medicine boxes, complete picking and handover, and support overnight pharmacist workflows. Critically, retail outlets require no physical retrofitting to run the system.

A longstanding bottleneck for robotics is hardware lock-in: traditional robotic systems need custom code for individual tasks, with algorithms often rebuilt when swapping mechanical arms. Lingbo’s LingBot-VLA 2.0 foundation model solves this by decoupling the AI “brain” from robot bodies. At the summit, the same model ran on hardware from Leju, Taihu and other vendors. Pre-trained for 17 mainstream robot brands and 20 configurations, it supports single-arm, dual-arm, bipedal and wheeled platforms.

Two industry inflection points are demonstrated at the booth. First, robot brains are achieving cross-hardware generalization. Second, embodied intelligence is scaling into genuine commercial operations, not one-off stage demos. The pharmacy system exemplifies this transition from laboratory prototypes to persistent real-world service.

Beyond hardware demonstrations, Ant Lingbo has lined up a series of high-profile discussions at Inclusion 2026. At the forum “On the Foundation: Scene Breakthrough and Co-evolution of Embodied Intelligence”, its team will join top scientists and leaders of large robotics firms to debate core industry challenges including base algorithms, data flywheels, hardware and commercial use cases. The conversation will focus on collaborative ecosystem building and scalable real-world rollouts.

Shen Yujun, Chief Scientist of Ant Lingbo, will take part in the main forum’s “Physical Intelligence — Divides and Choices” roundtable. He will discuss the industry’s shift from competing on mechanical hardware to competing on AI brains, outlining how Lingbo’s native embodied architecture overcomes barriers to field deployment.

The firm is also launching an embodied foundation model challenge jointly with ModelScope and Alibaba Cloud Tianchi. The competition opens its industrial technical assets and scenario requirements to developers worldwide to accelerate the embodied AI algorithm ecosystem.

Taken together, Ant Lingbo’s presentation at Inclusion 2026 validates LingBot-VLA 2.0’s cross-platform, multi-scenario generalization capability and commercial track record. It offers a concrete industry example as embodied intelligence moves from research labs into everyday physical environments.
